The original plan was to head to Smith for the weekend. But the forecast was calling for highs in the 90's so I crossed my fingers and checked the forecast in Squamish. To my delight, the weather was supposed to be in the mid 70's and sunny!! So Adrianne, Bill, Kurt and I headed out of town at 3 pm. I was pracically giddy to be back in Squamish and my hyper-active mind put together a very ambitious tick-list for us at the Smoke Bluffs on Saturday. I had 13 pitches on my tick-list. I never thought we'd get in close to that many climbs, but I ended up doing 11 routes. And Kurt got in 12. I'm not sure how many pitches Adrianne and Bill managed to do, but it was somewhere in the same neighborhood as me. My goal for the weekend was to get my lead head back in shape and I did plenty of leading on Saturday and was pleasently surprised at how comfortable I felt on lead most of the time. And I got every route I did clean both on lead and on top-rope. It was a great day for me!

Here's a list of routes we did.

Laughing Crack -- 5.7 (Adrianne, Bill, and I led)
Cat Crack -- 5.6 (Adrianne led)
Sally Five Fingers -- 5.8 (I led)
Stumps -- 5.8 (I led)
1000 Pardons -- 5.8 (I led)
Mosquito --5.8 (Bill and I led)
Phlemish Dance -- 5.8 (Bill and Kurt led)
Jaberwocky -- 5.10b (Bill led)
SM's Delight -- 5.10b (everyone top roped)
Pixi Corner -- 5.8(I led)
White Rabbit --5.10c (Kurt and Bill led)

Kurt and Bill also put up Flying Circus, but I skipped it because I'm saving it for an onsite! :)
Then we all headed to The Howe Sound Brewery for dinner. :)

Here's our short list of climbs on Sunday:
The Zip -- 5.10a (Kurt led)
Nubile Woman -- 5.10a (Bill and I led)
Root Canal -- 5.8 offwidth (Kurt led)

Adrianne rapped down Old Maid next to Nubile Woman to get some pictures of me coming up from the top. After that, we went back to Octopus Gardens and while Kurt was putting up Root Canal, Adrianne took a pretty big lead fall on Edible Panties (5.7). She was pretty shaken up after that and it was about time to head home anyway. So we stopped for some ice cream, quickly broke down camp, and headed back to Seattle.
